Pitstop Foundation
The company’s not-for-profit side: the Pitstop Community, the Academy and the Education Trust Fund.
WELCOME
The Pitstop Foundation is the part of Pitstop that sells nothing. Through it the company runs the Pitstop Community and its work with young athletes, and everyone is welcome, member or not.
EVERY WEEKEND
Pitstop Community
The Pitstop Community rides every Saturday and Sunday. Meet at Pitstop Lagos, 92A Younis Bashorun Street, Victoria Island, at 6:00am; the ride leaves at 6:30. Anyone can come, at any level, and runners and walkers join too. If you don’t own a bike, the store at the meeting point rents them; bring your own helmet and safety gear.
FOR CHILDREN
Pitstop Academy
The Pitstop Academy is the Foundation’s programme for children: training and mentorship for young riders, with equipment provided.
WORK IN PROGRESS
Education Trust Fund
The Education Trust Fund is being set up to help athletes’ families with school fees, rent and other essentials.
